Newton County Schools is leading the way in K–12 workforce readiness with the launch of its newly designed Workforce Development Framework.

This initiative strengthens the alignment between classroom learning and career pathways by uniting educators, local industry, and community partners. Together, we are building the skills, experiences, and opportunities that position students for success in both college and the workforce.

Starting Early

Newton County schools provide a rigorous education that fosters critical thinking and prepares students to compete globally. With 23 fully accredited schools, students excel in academics, athletics, and the arts, supported by programs for gifted learners and those with special needs.

Newton College and Career Academy (NCCA)

NCCA empowers students with skills for high-demand careers. It offers industry certifications alongside high school diplomas and is backed by the Newton County Board of Education and local businesses. NCCA also connects students to career pathways and postsecondary opportunities.
